ok I've got another question -
Being a recently new computer owner at home now.....
What would anyone recommend for the following implementation?
Setup - I'm using my Tascam DA-38 & TMD1000 mixer as my main 8 track recording horse. What I want to know is .... Does Cakewalk or any of the other popular Computer Recording software Sync to External MIDI???
I'm not really looking to record much on the computer but if I can synch something to MIDI then I'd use it to gain a few tracks for sound effects, SAmples, some soft Synths etc - to expand & not use up tracks on the TASCAM.
Any suggestions? Soundcards I'd need? Looking for possibilities here......
