I mainly record stuff that I've taped off tv, and also some live concerts bootlegs. I realize that the bootlegs will usually be the cause of some noise, since they do get passed around quite a bit. But, every so often there's a concert on tv that I would like to put on cd, like Santana's special on Fox a couple weeks ago, and I just always get this tape hiss. I use Cool Edit 2000 for recording.
