Hey, a fender washer is similar to a regular washer
but is much bigger in diameter, (they used to use them
to screw body parts(like fenders) to cars, and since
they needed a lot of play as to where exactly the
part would look best, they need a really big washer
over the hole in case they have to move it a half
in or so in one direction.)
Like I said, at my studio the sound material behind
the singer is good, but keep in mind the singer is maybe
18 or 20 feet from the wall he is facing...and only a couple
feet from the wall behind.
