I don't know about that. I must argue that point. Hole was a mediocre punk band at best when they were indie. The only reason they are on MTV/radio all day is because of the Kurt Cobain association. Plus once he died Ms. Love had royalty checks coming in that we can't even comprehend. All that money and people want some of it. That allows her to buy her way into the pop market.

So ya, what she says is all true... especially for other artists, yet it has nothing to do with her situation. She's just trying to get some much needed credibility. I guess as long as someone says it and it helps, maybe the source doesn't matter. But I hate to see such a scum sucker acting the figurehead for some big revolution. At least Albini earned the right to talk and did his math better.
