OK I've finally taken the plunge and will be owning a computer by the end of the week. My question is - looking for suggestions/recommnedations for Mastering and CD Creation Software.

I DON'T want recording software - I'm already outfitted just fine to record with my Tascam Gear and am in no hurry anytime soo to go the recording on the PC route with the $800+ soundcards one needs......so.....THIS is what I want:

To create .WAV files from CD - software to manipulate the .wav files with some mastering options - to create a final mix CD of my individual songs.

Suggestions? Of course I want something that best keeps the sound quality of my mixes on CD in the conversion to a .wav file for CD master creation.......so......

Let me hear your experiences and recommendations.
