I've seen the commercially released MD's at Best Buy but that's been about it. A couple things about md. The car md players have been very pricey as have been the portable Walkman type players. The component decks have been reasonably priced but that's just a small part of the market. The big market is kids, kids, and kids. If they can't walk around with it and play it in the car, forget it. Sound quality means little to general population.
