Hey Tedster,
I've used the (ahem) aural exciter and it's not bad. To tell you the truth, though, right now I'm using a BBE 362 w/nr and I like it just as much if not more. It's been especially helpful with vocal tracks. I know there are people out there that will say units such as these add noise/distortion, but I'm not smart enough to hear it. My ears perceive more clarity and bottom (if I want it). If nothing else, I think the Aphex is a couple hundred bucks more than the BBE. (new, that is)
