Hello all! I finally got my paws on a copy of Cool Edit Pro, and now that I've got HDD space up the wazoo I'm ready to lay down some tracks. Where as I love editing and mixing in the digital domain, I prefer tracking to tape (it's a comfort thing)...Now, I have a Tascam Portastudio 4-track and I was wondering if there's a way I could say, transfer a guitar take from the 4-track and sync it to a previously recorded drum track in Cool Edit Pro.
I know I'll have to do something like stripe a track on the 4-track with some sort of timecode but how would I set this whole shebang up?
(By the way, Cool Edit Pro is really great!)
