NO doubt, you have a point. I guess it's just that I've become very comfortable with the MD8, and it's very portable. Also, for the time being my wife and I are both using one computer for our work - and there are days that I can record in the "music room" to minidisk, and she is on the PC in the next room all day with her work. I make sure that my mixdowns are sheduled around her being on the road. Fact is, I really don't have a "dedicated" PC for my studio. Believe it or not, I have a 30' rca cable connecting the PC and MD8, since they're in adjacent rooms. Making the best of what we have I guess. A new PC for one of us is on the wish list!
