Yep, I'm sure. Nirvana *wouldn't* use drum samples, but Andy Wallace *would*! And he had creative control of the mix. If you recall the entertainment news around that time band wasn't too happy about the whole pop mix that the Nevermind album turned into... hence InUtero as a follow up. They also complained about him sucking all the low end beef out of the guitars and making them glittery & slick.
But ya this is all pretty publicly known stuff and even if it wasn't you can HEAR the samples very obviously on certain songs at certain parts. I can show you right where to look if you have the album and good speakers. Same kind of thing drum-sample-wise as the Metallica "Black" album.
