Thanks Eddie! I have been surfing all day since I posted that cry for help, and I was able to find something called the wave/824 from Gadgetlabs. It appears to be 8 1/4" ins & outs for around $500. I emailed their support to make sure that I'm not misunderstanding anything, but unless it's noisy, maybe it's the way to go - alot easier to handle than $800 or more!
