Hi - can anyone help me choose a soundcard? I want to take all 8 tracks from my Yamaha MD8 (these are analog RCA outs) and go into my 400mhz AMD PC (Windows 98). I'd like to independantly compress/eq/etc each track, and then mix to SoundForge and burn to my Creative Labs 8X CDRW. But I know NOTHING about soundcards. I only have insert points on channels 1 & 2 of my MD8, otherwise I would consider buying outboard gear for those analong channels. Please help me!
