My father has an AWE64-G which has the same basic specs. The noise floor is at -70dB to -75dB. The frequency response is actually quite good, it goes from 30Hz-20KHz with onlya .5dB variance. Distortion is a bit high, I can't measure it with my equipment but I can hear it. The dynamic range is 96dB. Don't ever believe a card with 16 bit converters can get better b/c it IS impossible.
The live is decent for basic tracking/mixdown stuff. It allows for partial analogue mixing it you want to use certain analogue processors with it like decent compression which doesn't exist affordably in digital plugins.
