He might be pretty green now but what if in the future, he really gets into recording & gets too good for his machine. Not to honk my own horn but it happened to me too. I started on a machine that could only record 2 tracks at once and I stopped using it b/c I was doing some live stuff and also because me technique had improved to the point the sound quality of the machine was preventing me from getting better. Granted the Korg will sound a lot better than my 1981 cassette 4-track but it's always best to look ahead with these things.
