Personally I wouldn't bother with the Korg since you're already familiar with the Roland. Not putting down the Korg, it's a fine machine. But I believe it will only record 2 tracks at a time. Which is a serious drawback for drums. On the plus side I believe the Korg is cheaper. Still, all things considered I'd go with the Roland. I've heard some excellent recordings done with that machine.
