Anyone see the newest Fostex 16 track recorder vf-16

There is info about it on their website in the press release section. Looks pretty awesome. Musician's Friend has it for $1199. Looks like it has 16 tracks, records 8 tracks at a time, has compression, eq, 16 bit 44.1khz, and effects for each channel. What would be the downfall of a machine like that. Seems like it would be better than my Akai DPS12.
