are you referring to an Alesis Midiverb?? I have one - - and a friend of mine had a similar problem. He had to send it into Alesis for repair - seems that a hardware switch triggered by software selection burned out which re-routes the signal for the cascade function. His was the opposite - he lost reverb but had the delay in cascade mode.
