What Eddie described is Scotch (3M) #230 drafting tape. It looks exactly like 1 inch wide masking tape but has a very light-stick adhesive. Sells for about five bucks for a 60 yd. roll. You should be able to find it at any office supply store that carries drafting supplies. I've used it for years and it works like a charm.
