i do most of my recording in a small apartment. the korg and roland boxes that i run thru give great realistic distorted amp (cmos+other types)sims but, they just don't cut it for clean. i can't really run thru a speaker setup at all. i do every thing with head phones. it's funny that all these amp simulators like pod & cmos stuff only diliver realistic distorted tones. i do have a nice marshall 800 with telefunken tubes that has a direct out, but i'v never listened to it direct. i'll take a listen to it but i won't be able to use it in due to size. doesnt any one play clean? funk, ska, mellow? ryan
