I've just read that some company (was it ADM or something) has come out with a 1 gHz chip. Yep, a gigahertz. And now Intel is right behind. Muy expensive, but... the upshot of this is, as they push to market the new processor to high-end users, prices oughta drop drastically on the low to medium end processors. So you may want to hold out a bit...
