You're going from a format that has a lot of data chunks tossed (read, lower quality) to a format that is very high in quality. So, although it may be just as simple as saving the file as a .wav file, you're not going to get back the quality you lost. Better idea, go back to the original medium. Usually one converts from .wav to .rm (usually no point in going the other way), so since you'd have just about had to have the files initially as .wavs (or possibly what's the Mac equivalent, .aiff files or something?) I'd start with the originals.

It would be like having a bunch of old albums, playing them over an AM radio, recording them off the radio, and wanting to go and make those recordings into albums again.
