just run the output on one card through the Finalizer and into the other soundcard. Just select which soundcard you want to use for the playback tracks in CEP's multitrack mode and select the other card for recording a new track. Then you can save, edit and process the new track and still preserve the original WAV.
Or you can just play the CD from your default soundcard while recording from the other soundcard in CEP.
