easy turbo, sometimes it takes a while for people to see your messages and reply.
I don't even know what a djembe is but a single dynamic mic 6"-12" above the congas (1 mic will do) will give resonable results. Try an instrument mic like an SM-57 and if you have a compressor, 4:1 ratio with 10ms attack time can help maintain clarity in the mix.
But really, there's no "proper" mic placement or technique so you might experiment and see what you like best.
