Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 install problem

I'm trying to install Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 and it keeps insisting that it needs Directshow 5,offers to install it and reboot. Having let it, it says the same thing again !
I've got MSIE 4.01, Direct-X 7 etc installed so Directshow 5 should already be there, so what's the problem !???
