Hello,
"Another hopefully not so stupid question........"
I have been looking for a fairly nice, low cost, mixdown deck,(any suggestions on models?) and have seen on this board alot of talk about computer recording. I have a nice PC (for '98) and a new porta 2 4-track, but absolutly no experience with computer recording programs. Would it be a better choice to get the required programs to use the PC, or go with the old tried and true tape system. I do know how to use that, and I'm only trying to produce some quick demo's of song's. I also have a CD burner if that matters.
What all is involved in PC music production of this type, as I am pretty well ignorant of it all. Thanks for any help,
foo
