I'll go through a progression and start singing a melody. Not very precise is it? One night when I went to bed a song came into my head. It had a beautiful melody and the words to it just flowed. I remember thinking at the time that it was the best song I had ever come up with. It was a piano song. I could hear it playing and sang the words in my mind- over and over and over again so I wouldn't forget. And when I woke up in the morning all I could remember is what I just relayed here. Sad isn't it but I was just too tired to go downstairs and record enough of it that it would be saved.
