At the US copyright website there is a discussion that you can't copyright chord progressions. If you could, all the blues tunes to be written have already been written. I have heard that classic little ditty you used in S-loads of songs! It was simply your arrangement, performance and lyrics that made it yours! Sleep guilt free tonight OK buddy?
