Ok analog heads... when did Quantagy/Ampex go to the shitty reels? I haven't bought 456 in a few years and I bought some reels the other day. The platters are flimsy and they jitter on my machine. If anybody has any spare reels of the nice heavy variety, let me know and I'll throw some cash your way. (I only need the platters, so whether you have 1",1/2", or 1/4", it doesn't matter.)
