No, that's not a song title.  I'm really looking for Melanie Myers!  I tried to e-mail recently, and got the e bounced back.  Anybody know where she is?

Hi Jack!

Can't help you there.  I know she's posted in the last year, but the search doen't pull up anything.  I'd like to see some of her latest  too....

But it's great to see YOU back here!  Nice to see old timers coming back.  Lots of good stuff posted lately - I just haven't had time to reply.

Whatever happened to the "opus" you were working on a while back?

Hope thing's are going good on the west coast - we're holding our own on the east

Give me a shout, either here or email.  I'd love to hear what you're up to.

We WILL find Melanie!

Good to hear from you, Jack. This board is coming back!

PS - Great hook for a song.. "Looking for Melanie" ...

See ya,

John

Hi John!  Great to see you, too!

Well, the "opus" never got done.  I had a confidence crisis, promoted by others giving up on me.  Or maybe I gave up on myself first.

But the flame never dies!  LOL!  I've been playing more and more, and I've just started writing again!  I've written maybe three songs in the last 2 or 3 months.  I've linked up with a producer and I'm taking a sabatical from work starting in January to go into the studio and get this thing out of my system!

That's really why I'm looking for Mel.  We wrote maybe a dozen together, and I'm sure several will end up on the CD.  I want to get her back into the loop.

I saw Dan just posted, too!  Maybe it's the bad stock market??

I'll stay tuned!
