This is still on the drawing board..I am still arranging the 3rd verse..if you can call it a verse..anyway your welcome to have a listen..the music does change in the later part..

Cherished You
Standing at the alter
I looked at the this glorious box
And thought to myself
Is this where we end up
Is This all
After a lifetime, of devotion
I turned to face the people
So many eyes, stared at me
I wondered if you could see
Just how many people cherished you
My eyes fell to the floor
I thought then, it would be
My last steps away from you
My pain my misery.

And driving to the funeral
I watched the people passing by
I never looked at the road
I tried not to cry
I held my hands so tightly
I buttoned down my lips
I tried to think of nothing
I tried but I was weak

The clouds reflect on the shiny marble surface
The flowers wither in the vase
I don’t feel you here
I close my eyes
I can’t hear anything
But this song in my head
I imagine you lying in this cold dark bed

Now the day is passing
Like its finally all over
I stand at the doorway
Looking over to your bed
I imagine the last moe
I layed against your body
My head resting gently on the bed
My eyes filled with tears
My sadness overwhelming
My loss so complete

Imagine when I can’t remember
That day will never come
Cause when I wake up each morning
You will always be my sun…..
And my newest journey of life
With your spirit to guide me
I shall always cherish you..

You're a very compelling vocalist - I'd bet that you could sing the phone book and sound good.

You also have a knack of capturing the premise of the song through the sound of the music, however sparse the orchestration might be in the demo recording stage.

That's 99% of the battle in creating a song of impact. Specific nits within the lyric itself become superfluous.

Well done, and a deep bow of respect to an artiste.

Hi Liana,
Well, I must enthusiastically agree with Master Robert. You are definitely a major vocal talent.
A voice of silk and velvet. Hey, that sounds like a good hook for a song to me. Glad I thought of it, lol. I also listened to "In The Eyes Of A Man". Excellent as well. Two Thumbs up from me. Hope to hear more of your stuff. Oh, I got your nice email but haven't had time to reply so I wanted you to know I'm not ignoring you. I'll try to get back with you by the weekend. Real nice work here.
Steve
