'Shine On Me'

V1
It's funny how I feel inside
A cross between shame and pride
Soon we'll see the great divide
Within our lives

V2
Fishing like a journalist
I place my mouth inside my fist
Making up for what I missed
It's so contrived

My worlds collide when you shine on me
My valleys shine when you....

Ch
It's a better day she brings when
All my walls are closing in
I could never justify
How I feel within.
When you, Shine on me.

V3
To capture this in just one phrase
Requires a Sunday morning haze
Will we see out the rest of our days
Time will tell

V4
To put it all into words
Gets hard sometimes because it hurts
The logic is so obsurd
And that is why

My worlds collide when you shine on me
My valleys shine when you.... When You
Ch
It's a better day she brings when
All my walls are closing in
I could never justify
How I feel within.
When you, Shine on me.
